Drevedy was just a dream for a couple of years that later came true. It all started with an idea to combine the two things founder Fanny Ferdinandsson loved, watches and daily inspiration. Naming the brand something that reminds you of following your dreams and wearing the product every day was a great mixture and Drevedy was created. 

Nowadays Drevedy is not only a dream that came true, it is a lifestyle. A continuing reminder to keep on dreaming and working for what you want.

Do you take time for yourself to understand what you want in life? In a fast pacing world, it can be easy just to go with the flow. Comparing yourself with others without even knowing what’s essential for YOU and your own well-being. That’s why it’s important to slow down and listen to your inner voice. Learn every day

It doesn't need to be formal or complicated but you should learn something new every day. Whether it’s reading a book, listening to a podcast, or taking an online course. By learning new things you will broaden your mind and gain new perspectives and get a better inflow of ideas.

Move your body

 By doing regular exercise, endorphins will be released and make you happier and less stressed. It also helps you to build resilience. When we exercise we put our bodies under controlled stress which can help us become more resilient and get back on track quicker after challenges. 

Take a step back

In our busy lives, it’s easy to get caught up and lose sight of what’s important. By taking a step back and refocusing regularly, you can make sure you’re on track to achieve what you want. A good exercise for this is writing down your goals and doing a weekly review to ensure you’re on the right way. 

Do you know the difference between dreams and goals?

Dreams and goals may often be confused with each other, but the truth is there are things that distinguish them well. Waiting for your dreams to come true without actions and you will wait forever. A dream is lovely and inspiring. It’s where it all starts, an important step. It can be described as a series of images, thoughts, desires, or emotions that passes through your mind. Most often it is connected to the future. It’s something you wish and hope to reach, feel or have someday. It’s aspirational rather than tangible. Dreams can cheer up your day and life, and give you hope and motivation to keep on working. The things that seem impossible might turn into possibilities.

What are goals?

Goals are tangible and concrete. Plans and actions that take you to your dreams. They can be both short and long-term.  A goal is an aim or objective that you work toward with effort and determination. Goals are attainable and specific. That’s why both goals and dreams are needed and a great balance will help you move forward. The dream might feel more inspiring and fluffy, and the goal more strict and requiring. Goals are the key to use to make your dreams a reality.

COZY THINGS TO DO 🧡

Bring some flowers inside

Fresh flowers bring happiness and coziness. Go buy or pick your own flowers to decorate your home with. During a light and sunny autumn day, picking your own flowers can be very relaxing and peaceful.

Journaling

By using journaling you can get your thoughts out of your head and clear your mind. It helps you both keeping the stress away and also to put focus on where you want. It’s a wonderful way to reconnect to yourself, quieten a busy mind and understand what you feel about yourself and current situation. By writing down what you feel you can easily map out what you need to change in your life. Make it a habit to clear out what actions needs to be taken. By changing something within yourself, you can change your life and achieve your dreams.

Enjoy a warm drink

Make your favorite warm drink and make time to actually sit and drink it whilst it’s still warm! This exercise isn’t just about the drink, it’s about being in the moment and practicing taking a few minutes for yourself. Have your mind at the place you physically are. 

Read a book

When it’s wet and windy outside, nothing beats curling up under a blanket with a good book.

Bath and bubbles

Take a long soak in a warm bath with some lovely bath products to add a little touch of luxury! Treat yourself, mind, body, and soul. Calm down and relax for some time.

 Light a scented candle

Bring a little warmth and cozy light to your home now that the days are getting shorter and darker.
